APPENDIX B
There are several on-screen commands available when using the
SmithMatch
Module. They add a great deal of flexibility, and you should
be aware of them. All are listed and explained below.
Command
Definition
C
The "
Clean" command allows you to
refresh
the screen, and
clear it of clutter. This
command will re-draw
the Smith Chart, the
first VSWR circle, and the
impedance
plot using
the
last saved element values.
Q
The "
Quit" command
returns you to the beginning of the
SmithMatch Module.
R
The "
Restart" command allows you to start
over, i.e., to "begin again," your match
network
design. It will take you back to the very beginning, giving you a clean
screen,
initial VSWR circle, and data plot.
S
The "
Save" command lets you save the
current network impedance data.
V
The "
VSWR" command lets you draw an
additional circle on-screen. Both might be
useful as
"bounds" perhaps. However, they will be
erased if
you use "
R" or "
C."
To use any of these on-screen commands, just enter the letter from your
keyboard at the
SmithMatch Module command prompt.
